Any one know the theory behind how this suspension works?

Is it better than what skidoo uses in North America?

Can a guy in Canada order Lynx Parts?

I like the facts that there are no torsion springs.......

Its been around a little while. It was talked about on Dootalk for awhile but then it died off.

Here is some background on the PPS and its history with Lynx in the first few pages of this.

Here is a model that has a remote option for settings. I don't think it would be best described as an adjustable remote coupler as it is only controlling dampening but you can see how it would work.

Whats the relationship between Lynx and Skidoo, do they even talk?

That PPS suspension looks pretty cool and would be a good option for the non t-motion faithful or the people that are fed up with their torsion springs.

Without looking up the history on the origins of ownership of Lynx, its really BRP's Finisih little sister to the Ski-Doo lineup. To have Lynx in N.America competing against Doo would likely not be BRP's best choice. The industry in Scandinavian riding areas I do not believe is near as large. I have ridden with several people from Norway, Finland and elsewhere and they do not have the infrastructure that we do and their sleds are designed for that.

If torsion springs really are that much of a nuisance then it is more or less going to be an aftermarket fix, or manufacturer change. Doo has stayed with the torsion springs this long and just like when they went to 16" wide tracks when many would like a 15" wide option they are not going to change that any time soon. Have you ever really looked at the French? lol They will make a choice and live with it forever.

Hey I don't like that skidoo is built in Quebec, I'd prefer if they were built in Newfoundland lol.

Skidoo has a good engine, which is why I always seem to end up with one.

Suspension, not so much.
