Wow.

So if your deck comes looses

Then you don’t notice it fly out of your truck, you probably shouldn’t get it back. IMO

But maybe they will drop some free sleds next time.

maybe someone stole it and it fell out of whatever stolen vehicle they were using to transport it, just a thought ,or maybe his wife was driving the truck and didn’t notice it fall out

Haha umm honey, I heard a thump and the noticed that metal thingy in you truck holder boxy thingy is gone.

For realz, I’ve took some sharp turns before and was looking in the mirror waiting for that turnbuckel to let go and deck go a flipping. Wild guess but maybe something broke when sled was on it. Pull over unload sled and take off deck. Re load sled drive away and come back for deck later......mayyybe

orrrrrr, maybe it was a 1/2 ton with it and the” 1/2 ton sled deck sheriff “ pulled them over and said you are overweight and made them take the deck off truck

Have a friend that lost his whole welding skid out of the back of his truck. Needed a picker to come get it off the road. Lol

I think we have a winner!
I passed the number I received onto my buddy. The deck is at his place near Langdon.

Definitely interested to see what is left of it. Goes to show the importance of securing these things. It is one thing to be the guy who lost it, but how about being the guy following behind when the wind caught it or whatever else made it leave the truck. I can easily fathom it lifting up vertically and then flying back towards your windshield. I've had a close call myself being the follower.

My buddy found a sled deck on the highway - Lethbridge area. Post a description or a picture of it when it was in your truck. ;)

Was it actually ON the highway....like fell out of the truck..on the highway? or was it placed near the highway (for whatever reason) to be picked up later?

I'm not sure. The guy that picked it up is a tow truck... oops, Vehicle Recovery Specialist and I didn't get details. I'm the 3rd person in this telephone game and I'm the one capable of posting on here and FB.

It wasn't on the back roads to Langdon heading east or west, I live just off TWP 232 and never seen it
