I have mostly all MF gear and and looking to switch to a different brand. Its not that they haven't kept me warm or dry but rather that about the 6th time i was out wearing this all new gear i crouched down to help a guy adjust a skid shock and they split in the crotch even though they weren't tight. So i call the amazing warranty department to get sorted for a some repair. Not only do i have to ship them all the war to Calgary but when i requested a loaner set for a planned trip less than a week away i was told they told me they needed my set first to evaluate them.

I ended up taking them to a local guy that i used to use for leather race suit repairs and he fixed them up for me no charge. Not impressed and for the price paid they just don't live up to my expectations. Might try Klim next if i can avoid the urge to rock a onesie from TOBE
why not take them into any Motorfist dealer first rather than have non approved repairs done? I took my jacket in after a buddy ripped over it with his sled and the dealer in Kamloops gave me a loaner even though I bought it in beaverlodge, never even hesitated and I'm still running the new one the gave me off the rack because it was less hassle than repairing mine I'm assuming?

I got Klims with no complaints. Product has been Proven over the years. There are some other brands that have potential but haven't been around long enough to be proven imo

Thanks everyone for the info. Will have to hit Martin today and snoop around. Will probably buy best fitting ones and I love bib's so that's help with the decision process.

Tried on the Tobe onezy at the Chris Brown clinic last year. Very nice product but as their target market group is snowboarders and skiers they don't fit like the snowmobile gear from Klim or motorfist. I found them to be too baggy in the leg and seat with a very low hanging crotch. If they fit me better i would have bought one.

I use the klim bibs and they're great.

my burton one piece has suspenders inside that hold up the waist to prevent the to baggy feeling. ive been using mine for about 5 years now and love it

Bibs keep the snow out and better storage.
I find the side zippers a pita, rarely used and tendency to leak.
Snow cuffs tight to your boots and a latch to boot laces to assist in keeping them down.

Ran a set of Doo Helium 30 last season, tore the pants up - seams blew out, zippers broke, leaked really bad around the boot cuffs..

Upgraded this year to Strikt Rigger bibs and a free ride jacket... All good - Warm, dry and comfy!! Pants fit really well, snow cuffs are solid with strong velcro, side pockets have a fleece liner, knee pads, fabric feels super durable and the zippers are super tight and sealed.. Big tensioners on the shoulder straps dig in when wearing my back pack is only issue so far.. May just shorten the straps to size.. I'd like if the bibs zipper to jacket, i could also get a zipper installed..
