Just go down to boat launch like this dumb ass???
Can't believe how stupid people can be.
I asked him to leave and he packed up and left but couldn't understand what the problem was ??

I am sorry... but I can relate to that "dumbass". When you can't get a straight answer from cops/COs, or the online shooting community, what are we left with? Best guesses and "Hope" really. The CO that gave us a hard time for shooting at MacLean Creek refused to suggest an alternative.... so they DON'T want you to shoot at X,Y, or Z, but are incapable of offering a proper place to shoot..... that's the problem. Despite TRYING to do things "by the book"...

You can shoot at McLean you have to be 1km off the Rd make sure you happy into a hill as there are trails everywhere. As far as that co gos you just had ****y luck if you were breaking the law he would of done something other then talk your good to go and as mentioned while driving threw bc take any logging Rd and shoot off the sides 100 percent legal just make sure you go a ways off the highway and shoot safely

As was suggested check canadiangunnutz, it's a shooting forum, unlike S&M which is geared to other forms of recreation.

don't forget about the restrictions about transporting the gun through the national park. i think bolt out and in a locked case you are good to go.

Gotta pull the bolt out as well? Usually 2 forms of "locking" is good for a restricted weapon in transport and storage. A locked trunk in your car can be used as one as well.

Seems the neighbors do not mind some people shooting crows out of their bedroom window, they even complain that not enough shooting is going on.

No worries that is always the case...... but appreciate the tip. I think I have everything all legit and good to go.

Stop by Seymour arm. I will show you a sweet range with 400yards marked out. You can pop off as many rounds as you can with no hassle. Might be a bit out of your way though.

That is such an awesome offer. Do you mind if I PM and maybe exchange some info? Our route is not "set in stone".... it's two 45 year old life-long buddies going on a road trip. We can adjust, it's part of the adventure :)

That's awesome Team Dirt!!! Way to help a guy out! And as others mentioned, Canadian gun nutz is a wealth of good knowledge and there's a lot of good people on there that are willing to help out new shooters. Have fun and be safe. If in doubt call the local fish and wildlife office and talk to an officer.
