Its a co-ordinator position (= high responsibility) and requires pretty extreme work conditions. I wouldn't take it on for $42,000/year. By the time BC's communist govt takes their share of that salary you could probably afford a happy meal Now I know why all the Ministry employees I meet with on behalf of our snowmobile club look so harried and cantankerous... The pay sucks and their budget probly just got cut in half :/
To be honest, I am looking for work closer to home. That means work in BC. I was born and raised in Alberta, moved to Van Isle 4 yrs ago. My cost of living is high enough that I need to make above average for BC. Like I said I am looking but the rates are too low right now so I continue to travel back to Alberta for work. 42k wouldn't even come close for me
