Hello everyone. I am just looking for some easy - moderate quad rides for my family this summer. We would like some rides that r scenic and can see a lot.

What is your thoughts of the lille-castle-willoughby ride? Not too steep for NOT experienced riders?

Also looking at Racehorse Pass? Same concerns.

Thanks in advance for your help.

We ride south of Rocky Mountain House a few times a year. We camp at Outwest campground which is quad friendly. Or we just dry camp it around the Prairie Creek area as well. All kinds of nice riding around that area and also some good mud if you yiou want as well

I haven't been on the prairie creek trails for years as they were so rough and chewed up. Once our family found Bighorn Dam we haven't looked back. Just beware of the Idiots on the long weekends. The Crown Land laws are enforced out there, just a heads up.

I am also looking for areas to ride with the family. We went to Outwest last year and had a great time. One of the best campground setups Ive ever seen for quadders. We will be going back this year.
I would love to check out some more areas for random camping/quadding with the family. Not interested in Mud pits, just good fun trails with the wife and kids. scenery, rivers to swim in for the kids on a hot day etc.
Alder Flats has tons of trails but if its wet, that clay/mud it unreal.
Anyways, spring is just around the corner so planning some trips.
Play safe folks and if there are some trails we should hit, please let me know where they are.

Cheers,
SS

So that map shows most everything closed for Bighorn area. Nordegg is open?
