Just like it says, have two girls(10 and 11) and want to get them started on a machine. Looking for no bigger than a 340. Checked classifieds and kijiji, not much there. Anybody got anything that I don`t have to give up the first born for.

I have an older Bravo 250 trapper. Runs really well, just not very pretty (It's nickname is ol' ugly #4).
If you're interested, I'll just have to spend a bit of time to figure out what it's worth.

I will, doesn't hurt to ask.
340 yammis are excellent my kids ran threw one learning also. Another good sled is the 377 skidoo safari. We miled both out and cheap to repair. My son ran a a 250 élan for quite awhile he actually preferred it over safari. It was easier for him to maneuver. Still gets on it once in awhile won't let me sell it and he rides a 800 rev now??

That's what I started my girls ( 11 and 8 at the time) out on was an '84 340 Excell. Awesome sled for the kids...it actually surprises me where that little conveyor belt will go. They're 13 and 10 now and they still have a blast on it. :)

This is the 340 Indy Lite I built for my 8 year old over Xmas. 136" track, lower gearing, simmons skis, punched out boards. Fun little sled. Has estart and reverse as well. If this had not fallen in my lap I would have looked for a 300 Freestyle That is why I said the Starlites would be great. He loves it.

I can't see it lasting very long until his little sister will get it. Then I will be looking for something for him. I have a 550 Freestyle Backcountry that his big sister had - but too be honest that thing was never that great - too wide up front for them to learn to carve. Unless I can thing of a way to narrow the front end reasonably - might have to do something else. I thought of a 550 Renegade and just put and s-36 kit on the front end- but those things are $7,900! The Summit Sport with the 600 is only $8,900 and it is a way better value! Guess he might had to cowboy up in a year or two. 340 Polaris.JPG

Found a sled I woundn't mind pulling the trigger on. A little 340 enticer. So far, the only issue I'm having is it's west of Stony Plain, and I'm in cowtown. Sooooo, anybody in Stony Plain coming towards Calgary that could help a fella out and bring this little unit along with them? Didn't think it would hurt to ask.
