That whole system looks pretty lightweight. And I don’t like that they use aluminum extrusions with captive bolt heads to connect everything. Hopefully it’s all engineered and vetted. I built my own after not finding any side loading decks.

Hey Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone had some recomendations on the side load atv rail system?

Something like this
http://www.4boysmfg.com/product/sled-atv/econo-atv-loader.html
I have that system, the guy I bought it from outa Edson or Hinton said he was not selling them anymore cause not too many people have long box trucks, it was like 8 years ago, not sure what happened to it, don't think the website on them works either, but a buddy of mine made his own and they pretty good.

Yeah but i need to haul other things that are taller than the cover allows

Cant put a camper on it but I think its rated for 1500lbs on most trucks. GMC requires additional box rail support

No I mean the stuff that goes in the box is too tall for the cover to be on

Ahh ya, I ran into the same problem. Had to have a custom built fuel tank made. Tried to get firewood with it once and could only get one row lol. My dry box does fit under it nicely though and will admit it keeps lots of debris out

I use a sled deck in the winter and I'm very happy to take it off in the spring( but miss sledding before it's over lol).. and put my atv system back on so I don't have to hockey stick things in and out of the back.
