Thanks for some of the insight people. Its more what she wants then what i want. I'm leaning more towards a Pro but she kinda seems to preferre the XM. We will see.
I certainly invite more comments on any of these machines, much appreciated.
Things i like to know;
For example i heard that the steering post foreward mod on the XM for woman isn't that great. It has the tendency of making the sled want to turn and climb when sidehilling because of body positioning. Men don't seem to be too concern about it.
For the amount of times the sled would see the dealer's NEVER unless it blew up under warranty, we have ok dealer's here. M&M and 4Seasons motorsport for Polaris, Valley motorsport for Cat, Banner sea&ski for Doo.
When it comes to dealers, all i'm concern about is PROMP ASAP parts, nothing that a phone call can't handle with yesterdays date for delivery. If a dealer cannot handle that then i have no issues going else where. Its a small world. I deal with Kelowna Yamaha and CR-racing. My parts are never more then 2 days away MAX.
I have delt with all the dealers in town (Kelowna/Vernon) and they generaly are pretty good, they all know me.

This is the first I've heard of that.
I wouldn't agree and after the many days of mountain riding my better half has done on the XM, we didn't see that as an issue at all. As you very well know Lund, it may be a factor when there are holes with big trees at the bottom........:rollinglaugh:

I personaly wouldn't know, i was told this by Skadi.
I take Skadi opinion as a female rider very highly, she is more then an exceptional rider, better then a large persentage of guys out there. So if Em tells me this with her skill and sled knowledge, i'll buy it.

There is only one deciding factor to buy new IMO, and that is a good dealer! Unfortunately, you will only find out which ones those are by asking your friends (not on forums), or from personal experience. A good dealer, will do whatever it takes to get you back on the snow when you have issues, and that's #1!!! I demo'd Cat Poo, and Doo last year, and they were all great. I could pick them all apart on little things I didn't like here and there, but they are all super easy to ride. Every sled will have different balance points, so it might be more comfortable at first for her to be on one chassis or another, but you should seriously demo them each for a day to see which one she grows into. I didn't experience anything weird with the post on the XM. It was probably the best handling out of all three.
