We're just getting into sledding and I've got my eye on a 2007 Summit 800 151 track with the Adrenaline package listed for $6000. Is this reasonable? It has a new motor with low KM's on it. I'm looking for something for playing in the powder along with banging down some trails. Is there anything to watch out for with these sleds? I can't help but notice a lot of guys have rebuilt their engines? Is this something to watch out for? I just don't want to get a sled that's going to leave me stuck. Thanks.

I think $6000 is good if it has a new motor. The 07 motors sucked in short and needed an 08 or work done to the motor to make them last. I wouldn't buy one if they don't have a new motor... tick, tock, tick, tock...
Adrenaline's are better they have the powdermax track which is way better in all around conditions than the challenger lite which is on the X models.

I saw that one on kijiji and I think it's a good deal pending that it's in good shape.

Thanks for the fead back.

What exactly was the issue with the engines in 07? I thought I heard something about the top ends blowing out.

I think it was crank bearing tolerances? From what I've read...
