Looking for a cdi box for 97 670 summit

Wondering if some one has a cdi box for a 97 670 summit kicking around , looks like it all them older s chassis and Mach 1, 94 ish to 98 vintage, 380, 500, 583, 670 all use same one

Mounted on side of oil tank

Trying to get it running so kid can ride it Christmas day

There is a guy with a bunch of summit parts in south east Red Deer. He has ads on kijiji I don't remember seeing a cdi but it might be worth checking with him.

I had a 98 670 summit non ho or x and the cdi box was different than the 97 so just be sure what you need .

Yup, from BC. Its called shipping world wide my friend. Actually faster to ship a part from southern Ontario to BC by 1 day ! Go figure? Just trying to be help full here, but are you sure it is the CDI? The 670 are notorious for not haveing spark. The remedy was to unthread the plug wire from the coil, cut of 1/4-3/8" and rethread it into the coil.

100 %, old cdi has wrong timing inside, it Pops and farts out of intake and exhaust, and kicks back on the pull cord 1 out of 5 pulls


Plugged known good cdi from Buddy's sled and runs perfect
