Looking at buying older sled this winter

I have a "Rusty Approved" 2007 M8 sno-pro I'd let go for $4500 I'd have to check the milage but I think it's around 2000km, 153" new secondary, some cracks in the hood but thats inevitable.....


Nothing wrong with it at all, but if I can get $4500 for it I'll by maxwells rev, otherwise I'll put another 1000miles on it this year....

Ok what are the most important things to be looking (wear items etc. ) at when buying an older sled
do you insist on a compression test ?

Make sure they will climb with the new stuff. Some people on here think that newer is better.

Hey dude, what about my machines??????

Just cause Maxwell is god, doesn't mean that other machines, or machines that he hasn't blessed aren't worth looking at or inquiring about..............my feelers are a little itchy buddy!!!!

im not even sure what that means... but yeah oprah(mike 270512s) and that m8 are both good machines. oprah has a spot in my heart.. gonna be a sad day when she leaves.

If I was buying, I'd be looking at Bogger's. $4500 and 3 months warranty, worst case in the future she'll need some bushing here and there.
