Wanting to find a good deal on a Go Pro HD Hero. Anyone know of anywhere selling them for a decent rate? Best price in town so far is $360. I'm hesitant about ordering online. Plus I'd like it now! :D

Just got off the phone with a cycle shop in Calgary for $349.00 and if I order it off the Go Pro Site it'd be around the $330.00 mark...so I may just be going to get it this week.

Was just in the mall at Iron Mills. They had a booth in the hallway just outside BASS PRO SHOP. That was all they were selling was GOPRO cameras, mounts, ETC. didn't look at the prices.

When I bought mine the 960HD was $200 the 1080HD was $349. IMO the 960 will give you unbeivable video and pictures. On a flat light day I could see more in the video than I did in person. I would save the $150 extra if I was U and go with a 960.

you will be more than happy with the 960 i would imagine.I only run my 1080 go pro on 960 because the picture is so much bigger, the vid quality is still awesome.I use mine for dirtbikin ,sleddin.and wakesurfin..they are deadly cameras

For the price difference you get quite a few more mounts as well. On this site I'm looking at the price difference is $70.00 and if I added up the cost of buying all the other mounts it'd be more for buying the 960 and the mounts seperately. Might just have to do the 1080P and run it in the 960 mode

Hey Rowdy u might find that with the camera mounted on top of your helmet doesn't give the ground or terrain any definition.I personally mount the suction cup on the side of my helmet. We found that expecially dirtbikin on tight single track it was a lot nicer view off the side i would like to even get it lower but I think the chest mounts don't look good.Have fun with it and start makin vids...

Do you have a pic of where you mounted it? Would like to see then I'll mount it on the side. Also, is it the Pivoting Arm Assembly that you use for the side mount?!

Ya using the suction cup and swivel arm.Might feel a little funny at first but you don't even notice it after a minute.Try a shi#load of different positions, see what you like best...
