she called me last saturday.bring the car trailer. i will wait for you; ya right.Never knew why till i got there. I dont say why.i say how high? 120 kms later and the last 25 was gravel ,good thing too. most people wont drive in gravel to get to yard sale nowdays. this 57 is a second owner car. he bought it from original owner in Mayerthrope in 79 with 51,000 on it. has 53,500 now, he only uses it on the farm in summer. sits in side heated shop ever since 79. 235-3 spd, new Windshield and all hoses in 2012 when his son used it for his wedding.i have had 5 57s since 1969,all 2 drs.sold em all to pay lifes bills. try to find a running unrestored 2 dr now at 66 yrs old. nope. this will do. disc brake kits and seat belts ordered so i pack the wife and grandbabys.more important than 500 hp show car. i put some camaro wheels on it for now. the original Bias plys where shot. i had it at A&W weekly car show wednsday evening. was a hit with the hot rodders.most had never seen a original 57 before.
