Does anyone know what the radio frequency is for the logging trucks in the flathead area..just purchased a couple of handheld vhf radios for the farm and thought getting that programmed into them would make things a little safer going into the upper and lower flathead...Thanks for any info

mine is Tembec n and that's was the logging trucker told me last week. Better have it set on the correct channel as it is a busy place with lots of logging trucks on that road

Lodgepole road into the Flathead is signed as 152.870.

Not sure where 157.560 that was mentioned earlier is used.

152.87 is a common channel in the East Koots dating back to Tembec and CFI. 157.560 is an equally old CNI road channel. I don't think it's as common anymore, but still a good one to have programmed if you're around the East Kootenays.

They should be calling km's on the RR channels, the rest are for loading/chatter.
