I live just outside of Edmonton and want to go on a day trip this weekend. Anybody been out west or north and see some snow?

swanhills area is your best bet ...... lots of trails well used not lots of snow lately..... but quite a few cut lines to bag off on...... it's about 2 hr notrhwest....... of edmonton.... go through westlock..hyw 18 then 33 from ft assinaboine

On the other side of Edson It seems to be not too bad, and im sure out and down some Cutlines its probably not too bad either.

we rode from Leduc to pigeon lake yesterday and back 90 miles fields are still not bad and some sketchy area but was a good day :d

Actually swan hills has a poker rally this weekend comming up...... might be still on if it quits melting....... i'm sure you could call the town of swanhills and find out. if not bring your quad......thats how we went this weekend here...... all the hard pack trails were good for both.

Was out west of Edson on sunday. Was good snow on the cut lines!

Just remember not to wander into Wetaskiwin County. The county "Peace Officers" are a real PITA. See thread in the link below:
