One does not just shoot a lion and then wonder what they are going to do with the meat. The locals are already stoking a fire and arranging a pussy eating party before the hunter has even made the shot. I've eaten Lynx and cougar before. Tasted like chit if you ask me...

My old Forman was a guide for cougar hunting. He took a guy we worked with out and they shot a really big male cat. My old Forman told the guy that it his first cat that he shot now he has to fawk it, the guy that shot it said "but it's a male". Lol

Ive heard cougar is actually really good. Has to be cured though I guess. A hunting buddy who has eaten everything said it is some of the best meat he has ever had.
