Question about the linq system. I was wondering if there's any reason I can't drill holes in closer into the tunnel in order to accommodate a pelican case with the linq system drilled onto it?

I would make an aluminum plate or brackets to adapt the width.
Reason being, if you don't need your jerry can that day, you can't put the pelican case where the jerry can was.
The further forward the cargo, the better the ride and handling.
Because I can guarantee, you won't be needing your spare gas can all the time/

Most people that I ride with, find a spot to do a "Gas Drop" and fill up mid day.... to keep things agile and light also..
