Lights for inside the trailer

Hey I want to install some Led lights for inside the trailer when we are doing repairs. Is there different wattages for brightness/ What are you using?

This is what i have done. 10 rolls 5 per side 24' v nose so 20' sides. Just be aware of expansion / contraction of surface behind them. I had them all flat and they pulled apart at seams when temp changed. Redid lifting off about an inch at joints in surface..

I put like 5 of the double rv style leds ones and my 4 place is super brite and they barely use any juice . I believe they are from princess auto

I put these in my trailer. I just stuck them to the metal corner trim all the way around the trailer. Wired it to the factory switch. Just as bright at -40 as it is at +20. Wayyy brighter than the "super bright" bulbs I got for the factory RV style lights. Night and day.

They be fine in the cold. They are used for exterior signage backlighting.

But lots of quality variants out there. Some might have half their pods dead in a couple years.

They work good even in -30 and no dead ones yet… they’re cree LED so they should be quality

I wasn't too concerned. I did a lot of searching to find strips that I could install with minimal joints. They are fairly low power (48W total draw) and 6000k is what I was after for colour. I didn't want intensely bright, I wanted uniform brightness that won't blind you when you look at it. Strips accomplished that perfectly, and the overall brightness is like daylight.

48W could run for a couple days off the two 125ah batteries I have. But I'm rarely off grid, usually plugging in to shore power at night while we're on a trip, or is charging off the truck while running.

Full lengths of LED strip lights, and two or more lengths, is definitely awesome to work in.
