What brands is everyone using? Need to upgrade my 20' bar but i cant bring myself to spend $1000 for a light bar! Looking for good distance.

Heard good things about the speed demon products. I've bought some pods from light bar supply for reverse lights on the camper and pickup. Haven't put a bar on the front yet but have been considering doing so.

if your looking for distance, think your stuck with a expenisve one . a guy at work had a curved 50" (?not sure on brand or size), but my e2 20" still did better distance . but his filled the ditches better .
had some vison x on a work truck and they worked good but they cost as much as a rigid @ the time .

If you want to see far get one with more or all led's set up for spot lighting not flood.

My brother is selling new used light force 4-10" 55watt hid on a kc bar. 2 flood. 2 spots. $1500 for all. These lights are bright. And unlike led they actually put out heat and don't cover with ice and snow. Light bars are great till you follow a semi with lots of road spray that gets on it and freezes. After you pass the truck and are able to use your lights the bar is covered with slush and wont work.

Get a set of he speaker driving lights the ts3000 or something like that ... best lighting ever for distance and ditch coverage ... and there dot approved so no trouble with police ... there distance is rated for 250 yds or something

I like the JW Speaker headlights but I tried a set of their driving lights and was very underwhelmed. The Star and Sirius LED DOT approved lights have a much better output at a far less price. Aurora makes a DOT compliant light bar that is solid, and Rigid now makes a DOT compliant light bar (10 inch X 2) which is good but very expensive.

My Rigid 20! Best bar in the biz. I'm on that thing day in and day out traveling in the nastiest weather for five years now with out any problems. It total out shines all the other lights. It's logger proven.
sure it's $800 beans but brake it down over the life you have it. So many other guys with knock offs have spent more then that replacing burnt out or leaking ones.

Big Mikes Bright Lights in St. Albert, by the casino in Campbell. Excellent lights, we have them on all of our big trucks in our Acheson fleet. Great guy and he stands behind his product.

Spend some time poking around on eBay and you can find some $50 52" bars with life time warranty. Not sure why people spends thousands but I'm happy with my eBay ones.

Put my old one on the wifes SUV and got an Ebay special for my truck...Hate it...Almost not worth having at all. I have never had problems with ice or slush. I found the LED still puts out enough heat so it dosnt freeze to the glass. Thanks for all the suggestions. Will do some price comparisons today.
