Anyone ever see/hear of/or try one of these things before?

Seems brilliant to me and I may just order a few as stocking-stuffers to add to emergency kits etc.

I have a couple MSR ones that I really like, but they were much more expensive than that. In an emergency first aid kit, I would think those would get you thru, no problem. Who cares about the taste of water when you're in an emergency situation.

Go through some survivalist forums and read which one is preferred.

I have the straw and a h2o bottle with the filter.
Great products. Way better than carrying a pump filter system.
