The company i contract to just bought this 09 Teryx for my brother and I to use. I love it and i am considering selling my quad and buying one for myself. I got to use a brand new rhino for 2 weeks before we got the Teryx and i must say in my opinion the kawi is better machine. I'm not saying the rhino is bad, i just like the handling, the ride is smoother and its got more power.

What kind of top speed are you getting from the Kawi? Just curious, because my stock Prowler had no problem beating up a piped and chipped Rhino, in power and top speed.

I've had it to 84km and i let off as it is brand new. There's another thread on hear about the clutching on the Teryx and the belt deflection being way off so that could hinder the over all performance. I don't think mine has this issue as has gobbs of power.

Yup, that sounds good! With my soft top, 1/2 windshield and sunvisor, I've still had mine 90 kph and lots of power bottom to top too. Sounds like your unit is runnin good buddy!

Ya i will say one thing with the half windshield, get some weather striping and put it along the bottom or it will rattle off the plastic. It also makes it less noisy i find. Just look at the bottom of my windshield.

sweet set ups boys.. I sure miss my 08 rhino that was stolen. here is a few shots of it before it was stolen may 2009. im sure i would have to done up a lot more now if i still had it. it had dual battery with isolator, HID's, Piaas, windshield, full cage, beard racing seats, crow harnesses,gytr baja bumper and skid plate, itp 212 wheels with itp terracorss tires, warn rt40 multimount winch, clarion marine cdm5 deck, ipod dock, sirius sat radio, polk audio marine speakers, clutch kit, k&n filter, dynatek controller, billet rearview, baja light bar was just about to get mounted and elka suspension was just going on order before it was stolen. after it was al said and done, insurance gave me 17000 for a machine that was 10 months old, and under 300km on it. sad sad sad. I had every receipt totaling just over 20000, and thats low considering i bought it in the states for 7000 cheaper.
