Thinking ahead for a snowy winter, looking for ideas on gear drying solutions. Have buddies with elaborate drying systems in their houses/garages. But renting one can't do permanent fixtures.

Boot drier, and heated rack is my only idea right now, but for drying your snow suits it wont really work. Hanging them up only gets them so dry.

I have one of those boot dryer units from Costco, dries boots and gloves perfectly, and I hang the suit over top of it while it’s on for 3 hours and the hot air makes it way up through the suit more than good enough to dry during that time. If not I take the gloves and boots off and the heat really works it way up through it well. My klim suit doesn’t get very wet, even on deep days. Gloves though get soaked lots and helmet. Boots just get wet from sweat. My garage has in floor heat so it’s a nice dry heat and radiates up, makes drying super easy

i have always used this trick for boots and gloves. i just plug a battery blanket in and lay it on the floor, set my boots on it and my gloves. in the morning they are dry and toasty warm. i always use this when we travelled and stayed in hotels, everyone is trying to dry there boots and gloves, this way i just plug it in and everything is dry and warm when i put them on the next day, takes up no space

I bring a boot dryer and one of these Rocket Dryers. They work

There is also a model available without the UV light that is more affordable.

My wife and mother in law bough them for our kids and their hockey gear.

Kids are too lazy to use them or just like their own stink. So I take them sledding/or snowboarding.

Just can’t plug in too many heaters In old shitty hotels or you trip breakers. But one of these and a boot dryer is fine on a circuit.
