I wear snowboard gear, as thats why I load the sled up in the morning anyways. I got cold once, wasn't a big fan, so I try to avoid that again.

Arson outerwear 20,000mm of waterproof (Ie. super waterproof)
Pow gloves (several pairs, thin for touring up, thick for colder days, one extra pair just in case)
Electric goggles EG1S Great visibility, and I have 3 different lenses for coniditons
Base layer from Mec
32 Lashed boots (good for snowboarding, pretty soft soles though, mine are getting torn up from the running board)
Lots of layers underneath, and in the bag. Largely fleece, and wool.

Keeps me warm, dry, and smiling.

holy heck can you say good year man! thats a lot of insulation lol:eek:

I've tried a few things over the years and found you get what you pay for when it comes to keeping warm and dry. I broke down and paid the large for Arc'teryx pants and shell...best thing I ever did. As to the rest, it's all just generic mec stuff as layers. Oh ya....I splurged on a pr. of Klim boots the other day because the soles of my old ones finally gave it up.
As far as modelling it all goes....I'll pass:d

I have to agree, I run Arteryx gear as well and its absolutely amazing. I am always dry as a bone and for a big fella, thats hard to achieve with most winter gear.

Oh ya and the Klim boots are a must as well.

hahaha, yea, it's not 20,000mm thick, thats just the rating system they use to determine how waterproof something is. I can spill anything on my coat, and it's not getting through.

Klim, Klim and more Klim. Started with their pants and liked them so much I completely outfitted myself. Boots to helmet, underwear to outer shells. It is pricey but a fantastic product that you can count on every ride fall to spring.

Bought a Reima suit in 2000 and still useing it, have no real complaints at all other than I have had a few seams around the knees come apart, nothing a needle and thread couldnt fix. Jacket still looks like new and still no leaks, jacket or bibs, allways dry:d Have Klim boots, a little stiff, but still comfy, warm, and dry, along with good ankle protection.Use snowboard gloves that have kevlar palms and removable liner, awesome.
