As I told Ian last night. I'm out this weekend:

1) Lack of snow,
2) Dog sitting

If it snows I'm game for next weekend.

Well, we didnt make the Notch (wow is the pipeline beat up...) but we did manage to find TONS of untracked and decent snow in the Rolling Hills. Had not spent much time there before, got lost about 30 times, got stuck numerous times, and really had a great day...

Yeah, snowed for a bit, we got excited then it turned mostly to fog...light was flat for most of the day, but warm, and sun down lower. We almost bailed, but glad we went it was worth it...Love to go with someone that knows the Rolling Hills sometime.

Hey I believe we saw you in the rolling hills! We started up the pipeline and decided notch was so not worth it! When we headed out it looked like blue sky was moving in, so much nicer then that socked in stuff :) We found really decent (for this year, before anyone jumps down my throat for saying decent :p) snow in the upper flathead too.

I know some people have been saying that the conditions are not worth going, but man we found tons of untracked snow, just had to look and explore a bit. I completly disagree that the conditions are bad, and I know others will not agree, but man, what the heck are they looking for LOL

Would powder be nice, yes, was it worth it and did we have a good time, Yes...

And yea, we bailed on the Notch as well. Stopped at the cabin for a quick rest, then up the pipeline, looked around, and it was almost 4pm so we decided to head back elsewhere. Good times.

Anyone up for another trip to the notch this week. Chime in boys as it's time for another sick day!

I would be up in a heartbeat, but for once this winter the phone is ringin, and I am busy, busy, busy...Not even sure if I will make the weekend now. Although in my business the next call can be to cancel all the work LOL.

If that happens, Im in, and have another I can pick up in Lethbridge!
