Ok folks, lets try to get a tally on km's to belts used. There is obviously an issue here and it would be nice to have some real data collected. Most of the posts on here get drowned due to the trolling and brand bashing which is super entertaining but lets keep this one plain and simple. At the end of each week I will update everyone's total km's and belts used. To keep this consistant please post only for yourself as an owner(no posts about the guy at the cabins brother in law).... keep the stats to your sled and that's it to prevent possibly double counting. No sled reviews or analasys, just plain stats. Let's see if we can all be grown ups and not screw this up..... and doolaiders.... be honest!!!!

I'll start,

165 3" sp
475km
2 belts

I had counted on the 2 belt/problem threads 10 guys out of the 420 posts that had blown a belt, heard of someone who blew a belt or had blown multiple belts. Not sure where it is now.

100km original belt. 165" x 4k to 7k in elevation. Belt cover modded since day one.
Should also put mods, for the day I got it I took out foam and modded belt cover before any info of issues was spoke of. I lived through the 1100 turbo era.. Lol

To date: both sleds are 165" x 3" and have holes drilled in the CVT for cooling purposes. All felt and foam has been removed.

Machine #1: 69% break-in and 175 km, no problems

Machine #2: 79% break-in and 113 km, no problems

Guys check out xtreme vents, guys outta Wyoming. Nice looking vents and not badly priced, I ordered up full clutch side venting and shock tower vent as well as the HD intake vents he sells. Good guy to deal with, Hoping this will help keep these clutches cool and get some life outta belts. I had my XM vented since day one and I never blew a belt with 2200 kms so hoping this will help the 8fiddy

165 3" original belt grenade at 200km. Stock. 4th ride, belt had an easy break in. Was told by my dealer that if I had saved a piece of it, they could send it to brp for a possible replacement. Wish I had known, still bulls hit though.
