Anyone else notice that since they have been putting on salt/calcium on the roads instead of scrapping them that its more difficult to see the road? In the last 8-10 years, with the wet, black roads, I find the road sucks the light in. No reflection at all in the ditches. Not to mention, when someone passes you, in either direction, the slop from the roads cover the lights like mud.
I am pretty sure I am just getting old lol.

If truckers can run there retina melting hid's whats wrong with a light bar.

They are not HID's. They are led and are dot approved.
Drivers are probably just installing them and not aiming them properly.

much harder for truckers to run illegal lights, they have to have inspections every 6 months, pass through weigh scales numerous times and are always under the watchful eyes of CVSE officers.

I hate those headlights on the Petes. Stupid bright and when you get one of the a$$holes that ride you bumper you just want to pull him out of the truck and throttle him. Some cars out there are just as bad but there lights are lower to the ground.

How many people go on test drives at night when shopping for a new vehicle? I have had a lot of vehicles with crappy headlights. My last three have been decent but my 2010 ram 3500 sucked bad. As I get older my eye sight is getting worse at night too so I have been running my fog lights just because it is easier to see the lines. But running a light bar against traffic is not cool. Still see some guys running them in the city.

I did actually drive my current truck at night when test driving. I also looked at the reviews that are posted on vehicles, and include such things as airbags, rollover safety, frontal collision ratings, and amazingly enough, lighting.

Well then. Aren't you the greatest. With the greatest eye sight. And the greatest truck. Congrats to you.

Well I thank you for calling me the greatest, but thats a title reserved for a certain person who rides a sponsored sled in a certain area.
Its not the greatest truck, but it was rated very well compared to the others in its class
