Can anyone offer advice as to why a sled I just bought is leaking antifrezze at the back of the tunnel on both sides where the cover is to hide the hoses that connects the pipes to the heat exchanger.

I know I can replace the little hose that connects them and replace the conectors, but just concerned about why there is leaking on both sides.

Like I said I just bought the sled so I do not know the history.

It is a 05 - M7 with a 153" track.

Oh ya I am suppost to leave from Edmonton to Revy this weekend so now I am a little stressed about taking it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That's not the usual place for reported leaks so check the clamps. I agree with replacing the factory clamps for a good old fashioned gear clamp.

And probably leaking from both sides becuz the coolant is running down a seam in the tunnel or back of the heat exchanger and just showing up at both sides. This is typical when you drain coolant from a motor in a sled, coolant drips start to show up everywhere on the garage floor from coolant running in all the seams on the bellypan (even though you only disconnected one hose). I would suspect its a single point leak that's simply doing this.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I had my sled go into the Cat dealer today as there was one of the factory recalls not done - I asked them to fix the leak as I am running out of time before the weekend - If it turns out to be anything different I'll let you know.
