I talked directly to the manufacturer of these lights. Below is contact information and he is selling at par. I orderd two with two spare bulbs.
Excellent deal!
Wb page. Lead Dog Helmet Light: Safety Helmet light for Snowmobiles, ATV, Motorcycles and other outdoor activities.
Since the exchange rate is almost equal today, the LEAD-DOG's will cost the $84.95
each and the spare bulbs $20.95 each.

Canadian checks take us about 3 weeks to process through our bank, then LEAD-DOG's
would be shipped out.

IF you order online, yes to using your VISA, BUT our only option for shipping to
Canada is USPS Air. It is automatic on credit card orders, $8.00, BUT takes 10 to
14 BUSINESS DAYS to reach you. So 2 to 3 weeks.

If you want them sooner, we can ship US PRIORITY which costs $25 and takes 6 to 10
business days but you would need to call the office Monday or you can call me on my
cell phone at 907-242-5430 and I can take your order with the credit card.

For either method of shipping, quicker times are to the bigger cities and the
slower to out laying areas.

So $220 total with regular shipping, $237 total with Priority, and either check or
credit card.

Hope that helps

L e d light bulbs

There is a company in Saskatoon that has them. Little pricy but well worth it. I will post it when I find out the name.

Lead dog lights hooked up and working fine.
I choose not to use there plug and used RCA plug and wired in heated visor type plugs on the sleds.

Never used the brake light optional wiring.

I figured if I had to help someone else out in the dark that I could use the standard heated visor plug on their sled.

I bought a lead dog light and want to hook it all up. any chance you have a pic of which wires you spliced into, or a link to wiring schematic? I also like the idea of using the standard RCA plug.

I cut off the original plug on the Lead dog.
Used the white wire for the centre pin on RCA jack.
Black for outer ground on RCA plug.
Never used the Red, which is hookrd up to the brake light.

Standard harness with plug from any dealer for heated visor and Voila!

Will work on any machine with standard RCA plug. Mostly used for heated visor.

Diagram for Lead dog is available on their site.

T,
That is the RCA heated visor plug that connects directly into the wiring harness.
Folks just cut the RCA plug off and splice direct to the remaining wiring.
