if you have the small bumps then most likely you have a worm problem. Pain in the butt!

I think you are correct, I do feel the small bumps when I walk on the lawn.
I checked the PH last night in different parts of the lawn where it was brown, and the PH is fine on my lawn.

I only had time to do 1 soil test in a brown section, the test showed the proper levels of nitrogen, phosphate ect.

What time of day do you water your lawn? Does the grass lift out like the roots are cut and are there trenches? (Voles). My neighbor for some reason waters his lawn during the day at 1pm in 30 degree heat and his lawn gets burned by the water hearing up and scortches the lawn.

Thats a myth.

MYTH -- Overhead watering on a sunny day can scorch leavesThere are good reasons to avoid watering your garden on a sunny afternoon, but causing scorched leaves isn't one of them. The myth that water droplets act like tiny magnifying glasses and burn plant leaves has no basis in fact, and anyone who has watched the sun come out after a summer shower knows that the water quickly evaporates. Leaf damage can be caused by all sorts of things: too much or too little soil moisture, fertilizer burn from improperly diluted synthetic fertilizer, insect or disease problems, and weather conditions, such as wind or frost, to name a few.
Try to avoid watering on sunny afternoons to minimize the amount of moisture lost to evaporation, but don't worry about leaf scorch.

I water my lawn anytime during the day, south facing, east facing, all aspects, high noon, no scorching.

I have lots of worms in my soil, its great. Worms leave castings which is very good for your lawn. You can even buy castings. Top dressing your lawn each spring is possibly the best results I have had even over aeration and power raking.

Also dethatching is very hard on your lawn. You maybe have to consider it once every 5 years if you use a mulching mower. Even power raking isn't needed. You need a good layer of thatch 1/4"-1/2" to help retain moisture in the soil. I use a mulching kit, only rake in the spring for dead grass, top dress and water. I also over seed any areas that the dogs go in early summer and fertilize 3 times. Once in spring with a Corn Meal, very mild nirtrogen 10-0-0, then a turf builder production with higher nitrogen like Scotts, 32-0-4 then a fall fertilizer,

I did notice moths but I didnt pay that close attention to them, the kids are usually chasing moths and butterflies around the yard.

I read up on the webworm and the symptoms im seeing line up with what you mentioned.
Where can I find this sevin??? Or anything that will combat this worm.

I am heading to states today and will look for some who makes it and what stores carry it, I'll get some and will get it to you somehow, let you know later if I found some,
