Last Weekend West Kootenay

Got out for 2 gorgeous days of sledding last weekend, played it safe on Friday and stayed in the trees in a couple feet of fresh snow then did some sidehilling/boondocking and watched a few climbs on Saturday. Snow had firmed up overnight but not enough for me to hit the hills. Snowpack is sitting right around 12' up Ladybird and forecast is for more to come all week.

A few vids from my buddies helmet cam, first 1 is me sidehilling up a place we call the U shape valley, 2nd is Coxy sidehilling his turbo Nytro up the same valley and 3rd he's climbing a little hill and doing a drop on the Yammy, 4th is him taking my 800 for a little ride.

NOYCE!!!! I seen Coxy's vids on facebook. I got out to the chili cook off up beaver, it was pretty nice. totally untracked!

How's the conditions up Beaver? Good to hear you found a day when all of Fruitvale and Salmo weren't riding up there! In my back yard and I've only been up there once this season. Lots of land mines all over last time so didn't go back.

Man I have had really good luck up there this year or should I say the last month and a half. I probably went up about ten times and every time we were making fresh tracks. we also found a few new areas/cuts that were sweet for playin around. little revy is a zone with some good tree ridin. it was fresh everyday, mind you it snowed every second day the last month up there.lol
