Same oil tank as the axys tight snug if you tighten any harder it cross threads and leaks.

It’s a different oil tank than the Axys. I don’t think I over tightened the cap it looked level in the tank. I think my whole oil tank needs to get replaced.

check out the inserts for the oil tank neck. after a while the neck and threads get distorted and will leak. the insert will keep everything nice and round. have never had leaking issues after I started using them. I know yours is new and shouldn't be leaking but even with a new tank it will eventually start to leak down the road. spend the $20 on the insert and save the headache.

My dealer called Friday said one of mine is in Canada and should be here in a week.
Have you gotten the shipped email? I got an email on the 3rd that my sled shipped from roseau on the 24th. Hasn't showed up at the dealership yet

So in other words...............just send it as you see fit. ;)
That is how I break in every 2 stroke.
Bring them up to temp, then 1/4 throttle for a couple minutes to heat everything evenly
........ then giver!

This will be the first Polaris motor I try it on, when it arrives....................

We raced ice oval as kids. Dad also raced drag cars and had a performance garage. In the 70s. He always told me 2 cold starts. Rum new motor to get it warm and up to temperature. Shut it off let it cool. Then fire it up and giver.

Cool! I was in the NWSA from 80-90. Never raced the Deckers in Alberta but down at Eagle. Know the Tomeys well. I raced against Bratco, Bensons, Dohei and Liba’s. What classes you run?

How about Gord MacDonald, did you race him at Eagle River?
Not that I remember. Is he the son of the BRP dealer who works for BRP Matt? I have heard of him if he is. The 2 times is was there I raced the Sprint 540 class and the second time was Formula 1 with my twin tracker. What class did he race?
