Man that lake brings back memories. Grew up on that lake. We had a cabin in southview. Can you keep perch from the lake yet

Awesome. I think it’s the most beautiful lake around. We’ve had a place out there since 1998
No perch. Had winterkill about five years ago. Very few people have caught a walleye or a perch since. Those tough ass jackfish survived though. Got lots of those

So you recommend buying a property there? We've been eyeing some up

Don’t tell anybody. But yes. Water is great if you have a boat. The algae bloom moves around. She just swim at the opposite end. You can always find calm water to park behind an island. Good riding especially if you’re willing to run a few roads. I go to Drayton Valley for lunch on Sled‘s/quads. If we get snow, I let it build up. Then I’ve got 30 days of secret spring bashing. The community is awesome. Good people out there,

Love it out there, try to spend every free minute I can at the Lakehouse. Got a couple lake rockets last winter and rode the lake and trails, stopping at the darwell pub on a sled is always a good time. Some crazy storms over the last week though, even blew some dock sections off and I heard of some boats/seadoo’s getting blown accross the lake. The water level is very high this year too.
