Crosstrax deck with an X-deck ramp would be the best combo,..

agree 100% I loved my x deck ramp. If you have a lifted truck, there is no better ramp. The last fold that angles down a bit helps keep the skis down...best ramp ever IMO. If you wanna part with that x deck let me know bud.

Best part for sure about the x deck, that ramp is the tits, I can stop halfway up and then continue and never even lift skis at all and continue to idle up basically

$5k is a steep touch for a deck that comes with a two piece ramp. I have had a short ramp, a longer two piece ramp and a slide out ramp and the slide out is by far the best, no going back from it. Just buy an old marathon and refurb it.

I agree, the telescoping ramp is my favourite, I’ve had an old Marathon and now a Marlon and I have no problem setting it up by myself.

I've been trying to find some reviews on the Cross trax decks.

Seems like all good. So looking for information from guys who have owned one for a while now.

How have they held up? In terms of wear, electrical, cracking?

I bought a used deck a few years ago and have used it for 2 full seasons now. Not sure if the few issues I've seen were from new, or previous owner.
- Replaced 3 clearance lights. Used steel hardware on aluminum deck, had to cut them all off and drill new mounting holes
- Under deck light was very cheap, lens was cracked, yellowed, switch didnt work. Put a new LED housing and light in
- Cookie cutter design with no adjustment, deck sits high in my box (different models have deeper boxes so would sit flush) so have to use tarp strap to make sure top ramp stays in the truck and kinda of looks goofy

Other than that, the deck is built very well, and is a very good value imo

The cross trax decks, when I bought mine , were built to suit different trucks. Might be more of a cookie cutter now tho

When I was talking with Recerational power sports.
The sales guy did mention a while ago the guy that builds these thought he'd save some money and went with cheap Chinese LED lights. They didnt last. So he went back to a better brand.

Possibly you have one of these decks?
They also told me life time warranty. I'll have to ask if that includes electrical

Possibly... I got the replacement clearance lights from Greggs and I couldnt find the exact same lights (had clear lens on them and had to buy red and orange lens), but I'm pretty sure they were by the same make. None the less I'm not too mad about spending $15 and 30 minutes of my time putting new lights in.

I bought a used Crosstrax 8’ deck last year and it is a solid deck. Yeah the 2 piece ramps aren’t ideal, but they work!
I do need to replace the light under the deck with an led of some sort. Are there any slightly water/weather proof led lights that guys are using under their decks?

I just did a LED light strip that sticks on with 3m tape.
