Knee what Knee...Shiftys first ride back

Well I am a little late posting this but I finally got out again! The knee is amazing with no pain or further problems. Misfit and myself rode two days one at Bell Mountain and one at Allen Creek. Bell was amazing as we found some sweet step ups and crazy Misfit was airborn more than he was on the ground! The snow in the trees was great for playin not to deep but pretty heavy. Allen Creek was pretty tracked but tons of snow in the alpine! Met some boys who drove from Manitoba for one day and they tagged along with us (never again...dug holes in everything). I will post the pics tonight as I am at work...um I mean not at work just a different computer...lol

It was definatly a wicked time. leasons learned though, avoid dodgy lookin people who approach you at the gas station with their sleds on a thin sheet of plywood for a sled deck. Sir Trenchalot from Manitoba struck again!

yep that had to be a highlight thin plywood deck no straps just some rope and no ramp...had to be the funniest thing I have seen this season...other than Misfits sled flyin down the mountain without him...how are your wrists now buddy...

not bad tapped up again. went to the chiro this mornin, doc says im in rough shape hahaha, must be an accumulation of injuries, heck he even worked on a couple of fingers. But im good to go for thursday, got another appointment scheduled for friday just in case.

Oh but of course...Misfit can you put up a pic or clip of the redneck deck...the one from the park gate is by far the best...I will add a bunch of riding shots tonight when I get home!

for sure. il rip one off my tv. wont be great quality but it will do the trick.

Dont know it was scary to follow the last 20 min coming back to Jasper! They would hit a bump and the sleds would move and the plywood would almost fold...I will see if we can get some better pics later! They pulled into the lot at Allen and almost everyone in the lot stopped and pointed...

Could be the new prototype sled deck ..... Only weighs 40lbs. Kinda like rippin' all the weight off a rev and calling it an xp???? looks like a top secret picture ......... I bet ron gets the notice to remove the pics like he did the xp pics before they were officially released......................................... Do you hear those voices??

Yea pretty funny... how these people find me I dont know...the best part was no tie downs just rope, they had four of us hang off the back of the sleds so they could tie them tight, but by the time we made it back to Jasper the sleds were bouncing over every bump ...wonder if they made it to Manitoba...lol

We picked up a solo rider from sask. on 900 poo. The kid did great and had the best riding of his life. He enjoyed himself so much he plans to stay there for a month.
