I have owned klim for 4 years - I dont think there is a better product out there.

The Gortex XCR jacket will give of 1 litre of water/sweat per hour but the mosture never comes into the cloths.

I wear the Valdez Jacket

and Togwotee Bibs

Just make sure you wear no cotton under it -- you wear only micro-fleese

Always dry and warm...

Thats why i ordered what i could off of ebay.

Picked up a new parka and freeride pants. Saved about 250 dollars compared to canadian prices. I just wish I could buy everything off of there.

Contrary to what some may be thinking, we are not ripping our customers off.
The prices are higher in Canada because when we, the dealers, put in our pre-season order in March the dollar was a lot different. In addition, there are higher duty charges of the stuff coming into Canada than the dealers in the USA pay. Overall, there was some savings from last year. I've noticed that most products dropped $20 - $30 from last years pricing and I've passed those savings on to my customers. I hope this clarifies the difference.

Ya i noticed KLIM's pricing differences arent as bad as say the sled manufacturers. I bought off ebay because the price was way below even the US list price. I will be buying the rest of my gear at the snowmobile show so dont worry, the Canadian dealers will get some of my money, just not all of it :)

i'm an Albertan and I hate to say but, i also have bought all my klim gear off e-bay between my togwotee bibs and valdez coat i saved over 1/2 price that is alot of DOW in my pocket i'm all about supporting locals but why should i pay an extra 500+ dollars of my working money when someone else is selling brand new with tags on alot cheaper it is only smart shopping i'm sure if the dealers could buy it at half price they would change suppliers it is the way business works.:twocents::Happy6::trustme:

I'm buying new gear next year...trying the jacket and bibs on for size at the local dealer then shopping for the best deal...if that is eBay or out of the USA so be it…I cannot afford to throw money away. IF given the choice I’ll always buy local.
