Usually you pull your gator over them also they are warrantied for life no questions asked..they're pretty strong ****.

Not klim that warranties that. BOA warranties the dials and cables no questions asked. Done it a few times with different boots. Even ordered extra parts for free.

As you know, I have not noticed any difference in the warranty other than the process. We used to be able to get a water test done south of Lethbridge for the "guaranteed to keep you dry" pitch. Now we have to deal directly with Idaho. Still, all shipping was paid in my case and the total process from sending in the initial form to receiving my new gear was about 15 days.
I had another pair of bibs that were leaking this year and they were replaced (that was pair #9 on the same warranty and I think I bought the original and only pair from Mr.R's in Milo, AB in 2008). Also, a jacket that was purchased 4 years ago was leaking. It was also replaced. The process for warranty is important and look after your gear; don't have holes/rips in it as that definitely gives them a reason to deny the warranty.
IMHO, Klim warranty is the best out there.

Have to agree. Keep your gear in good shape and there should be no issues. Their warranty on boots states 1 year. But mine were warrantied with no hassle after over 2 years. How you treat and talk to the warranty representative goes a long way aswell.

Im switching from klim to another brand, two seasons ago I sent in my coat to have a velcro strip on my cuff repaired, and lost my coat for three weeks, cause it had to be repaired in the states. Ended up buying another coat to keep riding.
This past season the strap on my bibs let go in revy and I repaired it myself. When I had time cause I knew it was going to be three weeks for a repair, I put in a warranty claim. They denied the claim cause I repaired it myself.
Things are not the same with klim anymore, Ive had there gear for 10+ years, and I’m disappointed with the service.

I tried to switch once. Hopefully the other companies tech has caught up, had 1 year old mf gear that I was soaked in every ride. sent back they sent me new gear, 4 rides later wet again, then had the lady tell me “ well it’s a couple seasons old so you should buy new gear anyways”. I did went back to Klim, also had the mf redline boots. Those were horrible

I sent in a jacket and gloves for warranty...Denied on both. Jacket leaked on me a few times but denied. Gloves are garbage and leaked every time... denied.. Time to spend my money elsewhere.

Yep my experience lately as well, for years klim was the forerunner with their warranty and really stood behind their product. After having 3 pairs of klim gloves completely fall apart on the inside layers after less than a season on each pair and having them do nothing about them telling me it was abuse I continued with their gear as I had never had an issue with the big ticket items, jacket pants etc. Just sent in my bibs last month to be tested as I started to get wet in the front thigh region last year. Not a tear in the pants anywhere, and other than some wear on the bottom of the cuffs by the zipper from rubbing on the tunnel they were mint. Just got word back that they denied the warranty because they were ripped, I was told by them that they looked at the leaking area under a microscope and found a small tear in the front leg panels of both legs.......? Really that’s how stingy those cheap bastards are getting since Polaris took over? What a joke, to the naked eye the pants look great and should not be leaking but they have to go that far to save a couple bucks. Then they told me for $140 usd that they can repair them for me...... really they actually thought someone would go for that? Spend almost $200 Canadian to fix a pair 4 year old pants when I can go buy a pair of non current new ones for $250-300.Maybe they should stop sniffing the glue Polaris sleds are made with and come back to reality because that’s bush league $hit right there.
