kakwa parking lot and main loop

anyone know if the loop by the parking lot has been plowed for camper removals.thanks,also does the trail shut down apr 15th,or the park,or what...

Don't know if the loop is ploughed out.
We are heading down Thurs night to get a start on getting the Kakwa Kadillac out. Hopefully it will come out all right. Hope to be back in town Friday afternoon sometime.
You bringing the helicopter in to lift yours out?

the astar should handle it...probably go monday or tuesday next week,get one last ride,our first at kakwa this year ..................................

So has the season been extended to the 30th?? or is Kakwa closing on the 15th?

I'm drivin up next week to work in GP for the summer again and Im debating bringin my sled up with me for a ride or two.

i think,but could be wrong,that as of the 17th of april you cant go over 2000ft.anybody else know the rulings on this?

Riding areas over 2000 meters are closed after the 15th April. The park is closed for snowmobiling at the end of April. The last I heard is that the groomer will finish on the 16th.

My son called out on the 11th and said the Kakwa River was open.
