Here are a few pictures of our ride to Kakwa Park Sat 24th .

This is from the Walker Creek Road entrance.

Drive approx 62Km West of McBride, you will see a windowless fenced brown building, turn right there, you are now on Walker Creek Road. Drive 6km further, on the left hand side you will see a layby, unload there.

The ungroomed trail is hard and suitable for all levels of rider. The trail to the park border is approx 75km. lt is prudent to pack for all occasions, as it is unusual to see others on the trail early in the season.

Happy Trails!

I'm assuming sleds are allowed on Kakwa Lake?

Yes, this area is superb - my family and I have enjoyed the area all to ourselves many times !
