Kakwa 2009-2010

Yeah heard that B.C parks found sled tracks into kakwa and they are not happy. They have contacted the swan city snowmobile club with complaints.

EVERYONE HAS TO KNOW THAT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO SLED INTO KAKWA BEFORE DECEMBER 1st, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Read the Swan City Snowmobile website it's on there, And as a member it was e-mailed to me too.Guys need to check if they don't know.BUY A TRAIL PASS

Yep memberships are key. The club being able to represent a large # of people is how they gain leverage against the people who want this place closed. http://www.swancitysnowmobileclub.org/

Thanks guys, It's not worth breaking the rules. Any sledding will have to stay in AB, go to Kakwa falls maybe. We've already had warnings from BC Parks that sleds have been in early to the lake. Go to Red Deer Falls, Core Lodge, Wolverine, Hasler, Beaver Creek, Silver sands, Bijour Falls (PK), Old Friend. Anywhere but Kakwa Lake.
