I think we should get rid of the party system, no alliances, every elected official should be an independent who represents their constituents, recall vote at 1/2 of term served. Full accountability for actions, including loss of pensions and jail time. No appointments.. all elected. Representation by population, eliminate transfer payments and denationalize as much as possible. Have the federal gov't run the bare bones of that is needed and provinces do the majority.

I definitely agree with the provinces handling the majority. the US has that right I their system. states have far more power for their own laws and operation than provinces do.
