I don't think he'll step down, it's political suicide to run for Liberal Leader now, they'd never win the next election anyway.

Supposedly that's what today's meeting was about, trying to see if there was any serious interest by anyone in the party to run for leader, as it doesn't seem like anyone wants the job. Odds are they will let Trudeau go down with the ship and find a new leader after the next election.
