Just how busy is the Oldman River Area on July Long?

I was planning on going down to the oldman river / hwy 40 area for the long weekend but a buddy says I'll have to show up on Thursday morning to get a site cause it gets so busy down there... sounds kinda exaggerated to me.

Anyone else been there on July long before? How busy does it really get?

Are there any good quad trails in the area? Is so, where can I find a map?

Yes it does get busy down there. Very hilly as well if I recall
