Hello all,
here is something my dealer’s service manager is telling people who carry spare QD belts to do:
Once your QD belt has been broken in remove it and install your spare. Why you ask? Well here are a few reasons
1 we all know that if something is going to fail it is always happens when we are having the ride of the season, great snow, great friends and awesome ridding weather.
2 if it does fail installing a belt on the hill that has been stretched (broken in) will be much easier
3 once both belts are done shedding we can clean up the mess and not have to worry about doing it again.
on another note I will be doing this with my main drive belt as well
Just though I would share
