well anybody got an inside line on 2011 cats? pics? changes? eta?
rumour has it they are coming out with a 4 stroke turbo mountain machine.Like the one this year but long tracked with a 172" turboed factory pushing 300hp.
speaking of weight, compared to the summit, how does the m8 compare?i'm kinda' shoppin' for a summit, however the cats have alot to offer.never rode one so convince me why i should buy an m8 sno-pro.need help with deciding on the"best for the dollar" sled out of the box.don't mind doin' some mods, but don't want to add another grand to a new sled to get it dialed in!!
162 Hp out of the box. telescopic handle bar riser. awesome seat with tons of storage. Fox float shocks all around. what else do you want to hear?
don't forget it floats on the powder like nothin i've ridin before.
aaaahhh Don you might want to change your Avitar when promoting the Cats. Just sayin'. Sorry I meant your sig photo.
from the magazine reviews i've read, the XP will out climb a cat (not by much) and there smoother on the trail but the Cat excels every where else. boondocking, side hilling and just overall handling. I don't have experiance with the new ones, its just what i have read. I think the cat can take more of a beating compared to the XP.
What would you like to see changed ? Wider track? What is there left to do? Maybe make it a bit lighter? Whats that old saying ... if it isnt broke
scrfce do you buy the new model every year? last didnt you have an 09 ? but wrote it off?
Well got this from a good source so I decided to share, looks like Cat kept the 162 track, Turbo'ed an 1100 cc Two Stroker. Machine weights in at 400lbs Dry... Welcome to Cats newest breed of Pussy:

2011 Cats, as well as the rest of the manufacturers, will have Bold New Graphics. Hard to say if there will be any earth shattering changes to the line up due to the economy. I'll bet they drop the M1000 as it isn't a great seller for them, and that will be unfortunate, as it is a great sled when set up.
