John Deere Gator vs Commander

So I need to buy another machine, I have lots of miles on 1000 commanders and overall am pretty happy with them, started checking on the 850 gator and was kind of shocked.... wow have they ever come along way. Anybody have any seat time on the gators?

I was doing a little watchin on the web and there is apparently no association what so ever with BRP on the new units. Ground up built by deere after of course borrowing a lot of BRP's ideas...... Are they any better to work on than the commanders cause they are kind of PIA to do services and such on.

I know he complained a bit about the air box being hoaky. He is always getting parts and upgrades in the mail. They just show up without warning.
