JET SIZE on your XP?

What jets are you guys running in your 08XP 800? Please list your mods! We put a Motts head, v-force reeds 1/2 gallon of c111, and I didnt notice a lick a difference on the plugs "stock jets". Thought I would have seen some change.

Every time I've bumped compression only, a jet change wasn't needed. What compression did you go to?

Thats a good ?, I it was a high elevation head from Motts. I cant remember off hand 14-1 rings a bell but I could be confused. I know we didnt go nuts. I'll look it up.

If it's 14:1 you better get more than a 1/2 gallon of C111 in there. I run 50/50 AV gas/premium at home here. (Skywings at the Springbrook airport sells AV gas for only a bit more than premium costs us....waaaay cheaper than buying race gas)

Sorry I miss cluckalated, I was telling a friend we run 1/2 gallon per jerry can, and thats what I typed in. We run 1 gallon per tank. I could be wroug on the comp ratio.

14:1 works fine with GOOD premium at mountain riding elevations.....it's burning around the fields and ditches at home here in Altyberta that a little insurance is required. I always run 25% AV gas in Revy and 50% at home just for cheap insurance. You don't always get GOOD premium.

Ya thats the reason we are running 1gallon per tank of c111, but we bought c111 cause it was faster to get at the time. I will source out some Av-gas.

I wouldn't set up my clients to have to run race or av gas, or reeds for no reason? didn't someone test this package?

I bolted everything on, I was just curious to see if others had done similar mods and had to change jets. I checked plugs before and after and didn't notice much difference. But was thinking of dropping a jet size to see if we gain anything. I've asked before on other forums and jetting seams to be a dark deep secret!

Finally found the info, it was a 13:1 head from Mots.
