FYI, I have a 6.2 DI with a 212. with a freshly rebuilt or new 3.4 I get 4050rpm WOT and it will not spin out on a WOT launch, however you pickup gravel once or twice and that impeller will spin out on a WOT launch until you take it out and at least sharpen the leading edge again.

My experience, anyway.

This is 100% correct with the 6.2 212 3.4 combo 4050rpm wot. With the 4.0 installed would drop to 3700ish.

Loaded question, what impellor ? river speed? boat load ? up stream down stream ? Pretty sure mine would stay on step up stream 17mph in shallow water but I don't recall exactly what the rpm was. Normal cruise speed 2800ish

Chris did last year. Said it hooked up real nice. The two stages of impeller are offset more so shouldn’t be as easy to get a stick or rock stuck in there. Blades are thinner but Chris figured it’s tougher. Hamilton impeller is 316 stainless so really soft. Solas is probably a duplex or something similar

A half inch willow ruined my day, impeller was probably 60% trashed before hand but we were still having fun lol. Time for the stainless upgrade

Are you going to retro fit that into an existing sportjet boat? If you are I think your on a profitable business adventure, if you can make it affordable, and with the cost of new boats that's pretty easy

What engine is that how much hp?

It a Lexus/Toyota 4.0L v8 1UZ motor 300hp and 310ft pounds of torque. I haven’t weighed it yet but the guy says 530 pounds but has a zf transmission on it for a V drive ski boat. Which I am taking off. And that’s supposed to be 30ish pounds.
