Have a couple rides on one now. No tune. Power increase is noticeable at all rpm. If your pulling rpm now you will need to add weight, change springs, or something to bring down rpm as it pulls hardest below 8200rpm with stock tuning. I’m on a 2020. I hear taped everything u see good. I’m not super happy with heat issues- melting plastic at left side panel steel clip( but only on inside panel not the outside one), also the underside of hood near front is melting bad- I’m a little worried something might suck into my motor. I added another layer of heat tape.
I pulled hood apart to seal up gaps as now I’m sucking in fine snow and bogging in over the bars deep- didn’t do this last year. Even with the heat issues I will keep it cause it’s faster and climbs further.
I have a jaws pipe on my 19 alpha, cant say i was impressed with fitment, especially not impressed with the idea of the raw aluminum insulators on that they supply to beat the heck out of the pipe and scratch the daylights out of it, may as well left them raw steel. but as stated above i noticed improvement in power department.
Had heat issues melting plastics a little bit on my 14' and my 17', currently on my 20' no issues with melting panels etc, only issue was the twist clip (where the metal spacer with kit goes) on the left side, had some melted plastic around it making the clip hard to remove, trimmed the little melted plastic off the clip and no issues anymore. The fit/finish on my 20 is way better than the previous models years in my experience. Only had y-pipe/pipe, clutch weights on the 14'/17', on my 20' currently running y-pipe/pipe, bdx mtn clutch kit, BDX head and PC with BDX mapping, thing is ripping, no complaints
