Anyone have a good working map for the jaws big shark kit with boondocks fuel controller. Riding top alt. of around 8500

those are the numbers that came with the kit, I'm running super rich with those getting bogs in the midrange

Have you opened up your airbox? Relocacted the temp sensor? Does your pipe have the reducer welded into the stinger? If running the high altitude pipe at lower elevations, you may be seeing a lean bog. Other possibilities is a PV cable not adjusted properly...

The kits I put on seemed to work with those numbers. I know Brent Linderman and Turbo AL were both playing with different bushings in the pipe and different mapping. They were running good but we're also a little rich and wanted to lean it down some. I'd start with Linderman as he does lots of work with the Jaws system.

Call Brent at arctic edge, the numbers he sent with the kit run very well for me so far! 2400ft at home pulling 8500-8550 rpm normally ride 4000-6000ft but haven't got to hills with it yet. Hasn't missed a beat yet though!

The 2014 were hit and miss some of the ecm were rich in the midrange not to sure of the reason but my dealer said they experienced this. The 2013 seemed to be consistant and i have not heard about the 15. Is yours a 14?

no mines a 13 and it def seems to be rich in the midrange, at elevation it works its way out but coming down to the truck i start to get midrange bogs

Some pipes you can install a bushing at the stinger end for high elevations. Usually pipes that are built for either low altitude or high altitude. I had a set of twin crank shops, and a dyno port like this. The Jaws Big Shark doesn't require a bushing though. I'd call Greg @ Jaws directly or Brent Linderman. Brent does a lot of work with Greg especially for higher elevations.

The Jaws single is available in two versions - a high altitude (with bushing welded in the stinger section of the pipe), or a low elevation (also used for big bores such as the 925 at elevation) - no reducer. Pull pipe off and inspect the stinger inside diameter.

I just put another one of these kits on a few weeks ago. Gregg told me there is no need for the bushing in this pipe that it is made for all elevations the way it comes. Yes it will work better at high elevations with a slightly reduced end as any pipe will, but have to watch if trailing back to staging area if elevation drops a lot as pipe will be too tight and cause engine to burn down. If you're riding high elevation only, phone
Linderman or Turbo Al, both guys installed a reduced bushing in a few pipes last season

First weekend on big shark kit with bd box and clutching setup from Brent linderman, wow what a difference still more tweaks till we got er where we want er but sled ran perfect and was beating up on my xm pretty hard all weekend! Before my xm would eat this thing without issue, no comparison. Very happy!

Brent's new numbers are working really good. And I have the reduced stinger in mine. It was a little fat last year but now it's mean. There is defiantly a big difference from stock

This year the Big Shark system comes with a smaller bushing in it. Shouldn't be a need to install a tighter bushing. 38.5mm

ya i have those numbers, still gotta trim a bit in the mid range it seems tho. Just nervous of going too lean.

Measure the inlet at the end of the pipe (where can connects). Call Brent with that measurement and he can most likely steer you in the right direction. He said he has other #'s but have to be careful and make sure bushing size in pipe is proper. 403-564-4673.

If those numbers are still fat I would be really Surprised. They work awesome in my sled and I hardly ever ride above 7000. If your on and off your throttle and not
Putting around loading it up they should be near perfect. What are you running for clutching ?
